Kantanka turned 73 years of age on Thursday, August 26, 2021 and was celebrated with inspiring messages from the press, famous people, and Ghanaians at large. During his 73rd birthday celebration held in Accra at the manor of his child, Kwadwo Safo Kantanka Jr, there were exhibitions from the semblance of Kofi Kinaata.
