Famous Ghanaian musician of defunct Praye group, Praye Ho Ne Ho born Eugene Baah has said that initially he disagreed with the creation of the GoFundMe account because his friends could have helped him in his distressful moment.
He stated that the amount donated in the account was nothing to write home about-something he was convinced his friends could raise for him by far.
Speaking in an interview on Anigye Mere aired on Onua FM he noted that from the beginning himself and his wife disagreed with the account but agreed in the long run because of his relationship with Yvonne Nelson and some friends.
“Though we were in a position of distress, my friend would have supported me better. Beverly, our family and me accepted to take GoFundMe for camaraderie reasons,” he said.
