Controversial dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has said that in order for the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) and the Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO) it needs a Russian type of President to head it.

He made this statement in his recent post on his official Facebook page which is widely used by a number of people.
The dancehall artiste went on social media to express his excitement after GHAMRO announced that the outfit would pay him GHS30,000 as royalties for all the songs he has created throughout his career.
Owing to the way and manner in which many Ghanaian artistes have complained over the years about the two institutions means that Shatta Wale believes only a leader like Vladimir Putin can run the affairs effectively.
