Ghanaian gospel artiste and two-time Vodafone Ghana Music Award (VGMA), Male vocalist of the year MOG born Nana Yaw Boakye has said that he possess the blueprint to win a Grammy award.
Speaking on why Ghanaian gospel artistes haven’t made an appearance at the Grammy, he mentioned that is because they hardly show interest in prestigious global awards.
Noting that his colleagues hardly express interest in global awards he mentioned that he has the blueprint to make it into such award schemes.
“I have the blueprint; I’ll share with my colleagues. I’m not going to keep it to myself…moving on next year, we will work on it and see what comes out of it,” he said in an interview Hitz Fm’s Daybreak Hitz.
Speaking to KMJ, he reiterated that Ghanaian gospel musicians are reluctant to aspire for international recognition.
