Father of late Dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns, Nana Opoku Kwarteng well known in showbiz as Starboy has said that comparing Lynx Entertainment artistes, Kidi and Kuami Euguene to his artiste Summer Rains is a big insult.
According to him both Kuami Eugene and Kidi do not come anywhere close to his newly signed artiste, Summer Rains.
”Don’t even compare these two to Summer Rains, he is better than any other artiste currently. You can go listen to his song and confirm yourself”. Kuami Eugene and Kidi are nowhere near Summer, he said while speaking to Michael Agyapong Agyapa on Radio 1 Entertainment.
Speaking on what is killing the entertainment industry he said Ghanaians have the attitude of not support new talents.
”Ghanaians do not support new talent if you have been playing Summer songs you wouldn’t even dare compare the two. I blame the media especially the DJs. You just play Summer song see how Ghanaians will react”, Starboy said.
Starboy Kwarteng who owns Bony To The World Record label since its inception has signed two artistes, Kim Maureen and Summer Rains.
