A video chanced on by Pinaxnews.com indicates that there was some sort of drama on the Achimota stretch of the Accra-Kumasi Highway on Saturday, August 7,2021.
A long vehicle truck conveying arranged merchandise including gallons of cooking oil stalled out under one of the overhead extensions along the course. From what has assembled from social media by our outfit, the truck was over-burden and way over the stature to pass under the bridge.
As per our findings, numerous roads with overhead scaffolds like those on the Achimota stretch have a height clearance of 5 meters. This implies that a vehicle and its massive load should not be dependent upon five meters to pass under the scaffolds or even utilize the street since one needs to utilize it when using that particular stretch.
However, it looks like the driver of this vehicle didn’t stick to the height clearance guideline which in return ended him in trouble..
In the video sighted by our outfit, the truck is seen under the scaffold with certain individuals attempting to take of a portion of the merchandise. The video has since gone viral with quite a number of people attributing this action of Ghanaians to equally fix themselves.
