President Muhammadu Buhari has on Thursday June 17, 2021 said that he remains indebted to the people of his country for the love they have shown him.
A statement signed by presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu the president noted that he is putting in all efforts to improve the livelihood of Nigerians which begins with providing Nigerians with adequate security.
He noted that he owes Nigerians a gratitude for giving him a chance to serve them.
“My commitment to serve Nigerians is a payback for the love shown to me. I started my political adventure in Maiduguri and I always look forward to coming here,” he said.
He made this comment during his visit to Maiduguri.
The President applauded the Borno State Governor for his resilience and drive to bring development in the state despite rise in insecurity in the country.
