We Wanted A 20% Increment In Transport Fares, 13% Is Peanut – Commercial Drivers Boldly Reveals
Latest report gathered by our outfit indicates that commercial drivers have revealed they were expecting a 20% increase in transport fares.
According to them, the reported 13% increment isn't sufficient to conceal for the upward changes in fuel costs and other operational expenses.
An assertion given by transport administrators on Wednesday June 2 said this is to empower them accommodate the increment in the costs of fuel.
The new tolls took effect from Saturday June 5, 2021.
