Chairman Wontumi places a high bounty on Afia Schwar after court’s Judgement

Afia Schwar, a Ghanaian comedian, has been targeted by Chairman Wontumi of the Ashanti Regional Chairman after she was given a 10-day prison sentence by a court.
Chairman Wontumi, also known as Bernard Antwi Boasiako, has offered a reward of Ghc 5000 for information on Afia Schwar’s whereabouts.

After Afia Schwar was given a 10-day jail term and a GHC60,000 fine by a high court in Tema, Chairman Wontumi urged the people to assist the police in finding her. Following the court sentencing, Afia stopped posting on social media and no one is aware of her whereabouts.

In an interview, Maurice Ampaw, the attorney representing the Ashanti Regional Chairman, referred to Afia Schwar as “Ghana’s Most wanted.” He asserts that he and his colleagues have given the local police the arrest warrant for the comedian and instructed them to detain Afia wherever she may be seen.
