Latest report gathered by Pinaxnews.com indicates that James Oppong Boanu who doubles as the Inspector General of Police has at long last tracked and arrested One of the armed robbers who shot and killed a police officer and 2 civilians in the Bullion Van robbery.
Affirming the Arrest with pictures to National Newspaper Daily Guide, the Police affirmed that the suspect was captured somewhere in Kyebi in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
Report also has it that the Ghana Police Service have mounted some serious security guards around him as doctors take care of his injuries. The Police apparently shot the armed robber in his left knee after he made an attempt to cross fire with the police officers.
The Inspector General of Police James Oppong Boanu has gotten monstrous commendations for adhering to his guarantee in getting these armed robbers. He made this guarantee when he visited the family of the murdered police officer.
The police will now process the armed robber for court to clarify why he shot and killed their partner and two civilians in the Bullion Van attack.
