Ghanaian Gospel musician, Diana Hamilton has made history as she bags the artiste of the year award while beating Kuamie Eugene who was the reigning artiste of the year. She happens to be the first female Gospel artiste to win that category.

She was in the same category with the likes of Medikal, Adina, Sarkodie, Kidi, Kuamie Eugene and Sarkodie.
While receiving the award, she expressed her gratitude to all who have helped her come this far. Indeed the 2021 VGMA awards was a night for the gospel fraternity as Diana bagged a lot of awards including Most Popular Song of the Year and Gospel Artiste of Year.
