A gas filling station identified as Bence Gas located in Koforidua in the Eastern Region has been attacked by armed robbers. Reports indicates that the robbers bolted with over GHS40,000.

Four suspected robbers and a juvenile who allegedly carry out robbery activities on highways linking Nkoranza and Techiman in the Bono East Region of Ghana and the Ejura Sekyedumase Municipal area in the Ashanti Region have been apprehended by the police. A man believed to be a robber has been shot dead in a failed robbery attack on the Adonteng Rural Bank branch in Abomosu in the Eastern Region of Ghana. Suspected armed robbers have shot a woman believed to be in her 20s to death at Maxima junction in Kumasi. Eyewitnesses says the two suspected robbers were on a motorbike when they shot the woman to death bolting with her mobile phone on Tuesday evening around 9:30pm.
