Achimota Fights Court Ruling, Says It Disagrees With Court Order To Admit Rasta Students
Days ago, Human Right Division of the High Court in Accra ordered Achimota School to admit two Rasta students, Tyron Marhguy and Oheneba Kwaku Nkrabea after it ruled in their favour.
In a ruling on Monday afternoon, the court presided over by Justice Gifty Adjei Addo held that failure to admit the two students because of their dreadlocks, which is a manifestation of their religious rights violates their right to education as Ghanaian citizens.
