Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has said that under the Akufo-Addo’s administration many Ghanaian journalist now have online TVs where they openly share their opinions on issues.
He stated that these journalists instead of informing the public rather share their opinions on things that are not inline with their work.
He stressed that some journalists only have issues with the fact that they say things that get criticized by others for not being in line with what the public knows. He says these journalists always complain of being silenced.
Mr. Oppong emphasized that he will be telling lies if journalist had much freedom during his time as journalist than today.
Speaking on Oman FM he added that today most journalists have the freedom to share their opinions more than ever because they even talk about things that are not true.
