A social media user identified as AsepaGhana says not only the New Patriotic Party(NPP) can be blamed entirely for the hardship in the country but celebrities who endorsed the party during the 2020 election.
According to the social media folk, celebrities like Prince David Osei, Sarkodie and Samini misled Ghanaians and made Ghanaians believe that the NPP will bring heaven to Ghana but it appears they are all lies.
He suggested that the three mentioned celebrities apologize to Ghanaians for the hardship the NPP government is inflicting on them.
He made this comment in a tweet following government’s introduction of E-Levy contained in the 2022 election that was read in Parliament on 17th November 2021 by Ken Ofori-Atta.
”Ghanaians deserve an apology from @sarkodie@samini_dagaati@PrinceDavidOsei They must apologize to Ghanaians for misleading us into acute hardships and eco’mic turmoil. They must prove to us that they are not all about the money but they also care abt the suffering of Gh’nians”, he wrote.
