A National Security personnel has been arrested by the police for armed robbery.
Nana Yaw Arko, the National Security personnel led Benjamin Otoo @Dada Joe, Tony Mensah Yedu @Big Joe, Bismark Asabree @Dagbano who were all dressed in Military uniform purposely to rob a house at Ajasco Red Top at Kokrobite in Greater Accra.
Police investigation revealed that one Ernest Monday and Rebecca Akumine’s house were invaded on 18th November 2021 by the three men around 11:25 am.
Items they made away with were; three laptops, one iPhone 8 plus, three infinix smartphones, one techno Cammon7, one Bluetooth speaker, one extension board, 3 phone chargers, two laptop chargers, and GHS50.00.
The three men after the operation took Ernest Monday with them in a white pick-up car and dropped him at an unknown location then left him.
Ernest Monday and Rbecca Akumine reported the incident to the police and the three men were apprehended.
Items retrieved from them after the arrest were; 20 different phones, one taxi cab, 3 laptops, 1 motorbike, 1 locally manufactured pistol, a police vest, 1 Gota, and 14 different wristwatches.
They have been interrogated by the police and are set to be arraigned before court.
