The France President Emmanuel Macron paid a visit to an international food trade fair in the city of Lyon but was hit by an egg thrown at him on the shoulder.
A video which saw the President walking through a crowd captured moment when an egg hit the shoulder of Macron without breaking. This video has fast circulated just as the video where he was slapped by a man he attempted to greet.
In the video two of his body guards immediately got closer to the President to protect him from unforeseen attacks.
The other body guards of the President were seen taking a man out from the scene which indicates that he is the one who threw the egg.
Reports indicates that reporters who were at the event heard the President saying that if the man has something to tell him then he should be allowed.
It appears that this is the second time Macron is suffering abuse in the hands of his people as he was he slapped in the face in June while greeting a crowd.
The President didn’t retaliate and this won him the admiration of many across borders.
