Taadi Fake Pregnant Woman Still In Police Custody For Failing To Meet Bail Conditions

On Monday, court granted Josephine Payin Mensah, lady at the center of fake pregnancy and kidnap bail but she is still in police custody as she failed bail conditions.

Lawyer of the key suspect, Philip Fiifi Buckman revealed to Emmanuel Ohene Gyan of Empire News that his client couldn’t meet the bail conditions but optimistic they will meet the conditions on Tuesday, 28th September 2021.

In court, Josephine pleaded not guilty two charges leveled against her which were deceiving a public officer: contrary to section 251(b) of the criminal offences Act 1960 (Act29) and publication of false news with the intention of causing fear and alarm to the public which is contrary to section 208(1) of the criminal offences (Act29) which was equally leveled against her.

Josephine was granted a GHS50,000 bail with two sureties to be justified.

Meanwhile the suspect had earlier confessed that she ideally got pregnant but along the line, during her fourth month she had a miscarriage and resorted to the use of silicon belly in order to take her husband’s mind off they losing the baby.

She disclosed that she bought the silicon belly at GHS30.00.
