Latest report picked up from the world of boxing also has it that Lawrence Okolie,the British-Nigerian fighter signed and managed by Anthony Joshua took out Dilan Prasovic in the third round on Saturday night, September 25, to hold the WBO cruiserweight title.

Lawrence Okolie, a 28-year-old young man battled on the undercards of the bout between Oleksandr Usyk and his manager, Anthony Joshua, and squashed the Montenegrin inside three rounds in his first defence of the WBO world title.

Lawrence Okolie knocked out his opponent with a couple of right hands in the second round prior to finishing him in the third round.

Lawrence Okolie is presently undefeated in 17 matches and could be optimized to confront Mairis Briedis, the IBF champion to bring together the belts at cruiserweight division.

Meanwhile, Anthony Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, has affirmed his client, has been taken to medical clinic for therapy on an eye injury experienced in his defeat to Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday night, September 25 in London.

Sometimes you have to use your attributes. AJ never really got going, he will go to the hospital now, I don’t know if he has broken his eyes socket, it doesn’t look great.”

Joshua presently has 30 days to initiate a rematch condition which will no doubt happen in Usyk’s home.
