The #fithecountry demonstrators, have called on the acting Inspector General of Police, George Dampare to prosecute, late Kaaka’s killers.
Reacting to the manner in which Kaaka’s case is being handled after the committee which was set aside by the Interior Minister Ambrose Derry, finished with its report, one of the frontiers of the #fixthecountry movement, Oliver Bucker Wormawor disclosed that he and his colleagues haven’t heard anything about the report from the committee.
He stated that when people lose their lives in the fight for justice, their case are never solved but he and his colleagues will make Kaaka’s case an exemption.
we will continue to put pressure on leadership for justice to secure for Ejura. The movement will continue to mount a sustained campaign until the culprit are brought to book. The movement will be meeting Chief Imam as part of efforts to bring justice to Kaaka’s family”, he added.
Ibrahim Muhammed, well known on social media as Kaaka, was a social media activist who died on 28th June 2021 after some men attacked him while on his way home at 1:30 am.
Two suspects were arrested on Monday June 28 while the third suspect who happens to be the brother of the deceased also got arrested on Wednesday 30th June 2021,.
