The Director of Public Affairs at the Ghana Police Service, ACP Kwasi Ofori has noted that the current acting IGP, Dr. George Dampare is in line to change the Ghana Police Service positively.
He says the acting IGP is putting things in place to ensure that the Ghana Police Service becomes and benchmark for other Police Service globally through his commitment.
Kwasi Ofori is of the opinion that the zeal and determination which the acting IGP is investing in his work will see to it that all the streets of Ghana are free from criminal activities.
”I can assure you that the current Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare is so determined to take the police to another level and so determined that the police is going to win against all violent crimes”.
COP George Dampare who took over from James Oppong-Boanuh is currently acting as the Inspector General of Police a cross section of Ghanaians have suggested that the President makes him the actual IGP.
