A 26-year-old woman identified as Joyce Affi Jacika has allegedly been stabbed to death by a man believed to be her husband at Degede a suburb of Bibiani in the Western North Region of Ghan.
According to Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Divisional Crime Officer Superintendent Seth Serwonu disclosed that his outfit was called on phone by relatives of the deceased informing them that she had been stabbed to death in her room by unknown persons.
The suspect is identified as Emmanuel Baffour.
He indicated that the police arrived at the scene and found the deceased in a pool of blood with multiple knife stabs.
Reports gathered indicated that the deceased had wanted to walk out of the marriage following myriad issues she had with her husband but her husband who is now a suspect begged her too stay because he had turn a new leaf but the lady paid no attention to his plea.
The lady was said to have packed out of her husband’s house and went to live with her parents but unfortunately she got stabbed in her parents house when no one was around on Thursday 5th August.
She was said to have sustained five stabs.
