A mentally unstable 34 year old man has set himself ablaze to avoid being arrested after stabbing his father Multiple times in Santa Maria
According to the Odorkor police, they received a complaint on the 31st of July 2021 from the father that his 34 year old son identified as Harry Amponsah who he suspect to be mentally ill inflicted wounds on him after he attacked him with a cutlass.
He then led the police to his house and his son upon seeing the police run to his room and locked the door, the police then saw smoke coming from his room while he was in it.
When the door was forced opened, Harry Amponsah was found on his bed in flames with a knife wound on his stomach just to avoid being arrested, The fire was immediately put out and he was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
A kitchen knife and a gallon of Petrol were recovered in his room.
