Ghana’s 2021 Population and Housing Census (PHC) officially ends on 18th July 2021 after it was extended.

The census which began on the night of 27th June 2021, was stipulated to end on 11th July 2021 was extended to 18th July to help enumerators to mop up in districts where data collection wasn’t done or completed.
On Wednesday 14th July the Ghana Statistical Service assured the general public who are yet to be counted not to be worried because nobody will be left out.
”GSS wishes to assure the public who are yet to be counted that no one will be left behind. The 2021 PHC aims for complete coverage and generation of quality data for decision making,” it stated.
As at 11th July 2021 80 percent of data in Ghana had been collected.
