Checkout The Whopping Amount The Presidential Spouses Will Receive As Allowances Starting From 2017 To 2021

Pinaxnews.com earlier reported that the young wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has pronounced a #NoSalaryUprising for Presidential spouses demanding the choice is unlawful.

As indicated by the fundamental resistance youth wing, they will persevere relentlessly to guarantee the endorsement of allowances for the spouses of Presidents and Vice Presidents is turned around.

A five-part remittance board which was set up in June 2019 by President Nana Akufo-Addo in addition to other things suggested the said stipend.

While affirming that there had been an addition in the allowances for the life partners of the President and the Vice-President, the Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah underscored that that was an endorsement given by the Seventh Parliament.

In the mean time, the Executive Director of the Ghana Center for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana), Professor Henry Kwasi Prempeh has contended that if Government needs to pay First as well as Second Spouses from the public fisc, it’s anything but a Bill with that impact.

George Opare Addo who doubles as the National Youth Organiser on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) had this to say in a statement and part of the statement reads;

”In line with this, the Youth Wing will in the coming days invoke the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court to declare this cancerous and insensitive act unconstitutional.”

Well, a new post chanced on by out outfit shows the alleged and supposed amount our 1st and 2nd lady will take home as their allowances. Ghanaian politician Yayra Koku took to his official Facebook page and broke the news of their supposed allowances saying;

”Breaking News

Rebecca will be paid, 21,000 per month and will be back dated from 2017 which will amount to 1,134,000.00 as back pay.

This amount excludes her allowances which total 87,000 per month which will as well be backdated to 2017 which will give her Gh¢6,345,000.00 (New Ghana Cedis.)
