Member of Parliament for North Tongu constituency, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has said that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) stands tall and is on course to win the 2024 elections.
The MP made this comment when he met the members of the London South Branch of the NDC at an event which was dubbed ‘The analysis, the way forward,2024 election focus.
At the event the MP said the current government isn’t sensitive about the plight of Ghanaians in the diaspora as well as those who travel outside the country to transact business. He explained that this was glaring at everyone when the government decided to jump on Covid-19 pandemic to enrich some people.
He mentioned the initial decision of $150 charges on Antigen testing at the airport as evidence that the government isn’t sensitive. He noted that upon several protest it was reduced to $50 which is till too much.
The member of Parliament urged all NDC members and sympathizers to work hard and focus on election 2024 because the party will see victory but that won’t come easily.
He added that the country doesn’t have Covid-19 vaccines because of the poor leadership exhibited by Nana Addo.
