The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said that many people including former President John Agyekum Kuffour warned Ghanaians about Nana Addo but they failed to listen.
According to him the warned Ghanaians against Nana Addo wining power because he is a violent person yet Ghanaians refused to listen and voted for him which has landed the country where it is today.
He says when former President John Mahama was leaving office in 2017, the military and police wasn’t in the state it finds itself today-clearly the current administration has failed as far as security is concerned.
He made this comment while speaking at a protest, the youth wing of the National Democratic Congress staged on Tuesday, 6th July 2021.
Prior to the election, a statement from the party noted that the demonstration is meant to raise awareness about the insecurity and lawlessness in the country in a bid to wake Nana Akufo-Addo from his slumber to act accordingly.
