The former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has called on members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to help save Ghana from the current administration and its hardship by working hard.
Speaking at a three-day retreat for Communications Officers and members of the Communications Team of the NDC in Ho, he applauded the Communications Team for explaining well the NDCS’ ‘People’s Manifesto to Ghanaians prior to the 2020 elections.
He noted that due to the teams’ hard work, the policies were the most talked about in the country at the time.
Mr. Mahama encouraged the Communicators not to be bothered about personal attacks and intimidations which the NPP party have resorted to.
Touching on the spate of crime cases in the country, he extended his condolences to the family of Anyass Ibrahim Mohammed alias Kaaka who was murderd in Ejura and the two others who were shot in a protest.
He stated the the current state of Ghana’s insecurity is reflective of the President himself, describing the situation as ‘unfortunate’.
The former President urged members of the NDC to work hard into bringing the party back to power to rescue the people of Ghana from challenges.
