A/R: Quasi-Curfew Imposed On Ntonso Following Violent Clashes

Two youth fractions clashed on Monday morning, 5th July in Ntonso in the Kwabre East District of the Ashanti Region leaving two injured and one arrested.

The actual cause of the clash is still unknown but some market women have complained of losing items worth thousands of Ghana cedis following the clash.

Some policemen deployed in the area fired some gunshot to disperse the crowd.

A trader revealed that her items worth GHS3,00 were all destroyed by the angry youth in the clash while monies were also taken from other market women.

TV3’s Ibrahim Abubakar has disclosed that residents have been told to come out of their houses after 8:00PM from Monday, 5th July 2021 though that order isn’t yet declared a curfew.
