The free water intervention introduced by government as part of its means of fighting the spread of COVID-19 pandemic comes to an end on June 30, 2021.
According to the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources in a statement, “effective July 1, 2021, all consumers/customers of the Ghana Water Company Limited, the Community Water and Sanitation Agency, NGOs and partners in the water sector, will pay for the water they consume”.
“The general public is to take note. Let us conserve treated water as well as protect and preserve our water bodies,” said the Press Statement.
Meanwhile actor Kidi has boldly taken to his social media handle to congratulate gospel musician Diana Hamilton for wining the 2021 VGMA Artiste of the year.
Although Kidi was expectant that he will grab the enviable award last night, it went to Diana Hamilton instead.
