President Muhammadu Buhari issued a strong warning on Tuesday to those plotting to destroy Nigeria, stating that the will receive the shock of their lives.
According to the President in a meeting, he and his government will treat those evil people in the language they understand.
Speaking after he received briefing from Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu on how the electoral facilities in the country have received constant attacks, the Federal government have given the evil people enough time.
“I receive daily security reports on the attacks, and it is very clear that those behind them want this administration to fail,” the President was quoted as saying via a statement issued by his spokesman, Femi Adesina.
“Insecurity in Nigeria is now mentioned all over the world. All the people who want power, whoever they are, you wonder what they really want. Whoever wants the destruction of the system will soon have the shock of their lives. We’ve given them enough time.”
The President added that he will continue to lead the country according to constitutional provisions of the country.
