The outbreak of bird flu which hit some neigbour countries of Ghana have been confirmed by the Ashanti regional directorate of the veterinary service of hitting Atwima Kwawoma District. According to the directorate of the Ashanti region, four thousand birds were killed by the disease while thousands of eggs were destroyed too as at 29th July 2021.
