During a recent visit to the lone working abattoir with the Accra Metropolitan Assembly, a few individuals from ''Clean Up Ghana'' constrained the laborers at the Avenor Abattoir to tidy up their space as it was breeding a multitude of flies, hick spirogyra, and open channels with a sharp smell from the excreta of the animals.
The abattoir according to report has been in activity for over twenty years, yet its conditions have been consistently declining.
