The Presidential Support Committee of the All Progressive Congress, has suspended the National Coordinator of the party, Senator Godswill Akpabio with the basis of poor leadership.

Reports indicates that the committee is the broader body of Muhammadu Buhari support groups.
Spokesperson of the committee, Kailani Muhamad addressing journalists after a meeting of the group’s National Executive Committee in Abuja on Saturday said the group decided to suspend Senator Akpabio because he abandoned the organisation after his ministerial appointment.
Meanwhile Senator Akpabio was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari in July 2019. He is a former Akwa Ibom state Governor, is the current Minister of Niger-Delta
