Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, deputy Senate President has said that the National Assembly is determined to make Nigeria’s 2022 budget before 2021 runs out.
He assured Nigerians of the Assembly’s determination to ensure that the budget is passed in a statement issued by his Media aide, Yomi Adunuga on Thursday 14th October 2021.
The former aide spoke when he hosted his former classmate of 86 from Nigerian Law School in Abuja which was lead by their ‘Class Captain’ Oladipo Okpeseyi (SAN).
He went on to say that the early approval and signing of the appropriation bill into law will enable planning.
The Deputy Senate also said that the budget go a long way to enhance productivity and efficiency in the management of Nigeria’s resources.
He emphasized that the; budget process is ongoing. In the next 30 days, we will conclude it and pass it before we go on Christmas break, sometime in December 16,”
