Atiku Reacts To Rumoured Relocation Abroad

The former Vice President of Nigeria Atiku Abubakar has reacted to rumours that he has relocated from Nigeria to abroad.

Giving reason for his long absence in the country he noted that he left the country to study for a master’s degree in International Relations at the Cambridge University.

The former Vice President gave this explanation after the PDP Board of Trustees (BOT) meeting on Thursday 26th August 2021.

Givin his explanation he noted that his absence attracted public reaction and people said all sort of things which were untrue.

“Many people have wondered where I have been since September last year and it became a matter of rumour among many people said all what were not true,” he stated.

“I want to say that I was away, because I went back to school and I have finished my lectures in May, where I read masters in international relations from Cambridge University.

“I want to use this opportunity to thank our former President Obasanjo for actually recommending me for that course to that university.”
