Ghanaian vocalist, Gyakie has portrayed the wellsprings of her creative motivation.

On September 24, 2022, she guaranteed during a presentation at the Worldwide Resident Celebration in Accra’s Dark Star Square that she generally ensures anything she does decidedly affects other young women who admire her.

“Before I do anything, I try to picture two or three girls that look up to me. I have their faces etched in my mind as a reminder of my responsibility to show up in a way that inspires them and lets them know they can be anything they want to be, no matter the odds against them,” she said.

Gyakie began her presentation with the reggae melody Waka off her as of late delivered ‘My Journal’ EP. Gyakie conveyed an astonishing live interpretation of the tune with the assistance of the Ghana Armed force Regimental Band and, while the Ghana banner and marked Gyakie banners were waved behind her: An assertion of what her identity is and where she is from.
