Founder of the Worldwide Miracle Outreach, Dr Lawrenec Tetteh has said that some men of God over the years have abused the power of prophecies hence the police taking actions against it.
The man of God who was speaking with Berla Mundi on the New Day Show on 30th December 2021 said ”we have abused prophecies that’s why the police is acting this way”.
Despite blaming men of God for the actions the police has taken against prophecies he noted that the church has contributed greatly in shaping the Ghanaian society and need to be celebrated for that success.
Ghana needs to really applaud Christian leaders for the goodwill. God has used the church to bring some sanity to this nation and we should thank God for that.”
“In every community, from the days of old until now, you have the good, the bad and the ugly. Whether you like it or not, it is human society. In the days of the Bible there were false prophets , in the days of the Bible there were prophets who were prophets of doom but the Bible said by their fruits we shall know them. Here we sit today, you and I will not go to certain churches,” he said while reacting to police caution against doom prophecies.
Meanwhile the police has reiterated that any man of God who will go against its directive will be arrested.
