The member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Samuel Nartey George has questioned IGP, Dampare and his men exactly what they will be charging pastors and prophets with should they prophesy on 31st night.
Sam George in a post on twitter wondered why Dr. George Dampare is banning the declaration of prophecies by men of God regarding the New Year.
He went on to question the IGP where in the laws of Ghana that it was written that men of God who goes against his ban on prophecies can be punished.
”So what exactly will the IGP be charging Pastors and Priphets with if they prophecy tonight? Which part of our Criminal Codes bars prophecy? I would like to be educated. Thanks”, Sam George tweeted.
Recall that not long ago the Ghana Police Service cautioned men of God to desist from making prophecies that will cause fear and panic amongst Ghanaians, adding that anyone who flouts it will be dealt with.
