The National Communication Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said that the covid-19 vaccination shouldn’t be by force but by choice.
He noted that guidelines given to passengers due to the new Covid-19 variant, Omicron must not be imposed on Ghanaians stressing that compulsory covid-19 vaccination directed by government as a result of the Omicron shouldn’t be by force.
In a Facebook post he wrote; “The imposition of compulsory COVID vaccination requirement on all Ghanaians travelling into and out of Ghana by the Ghana Health Service is reprehensible and an affront to the 1992 Constitution. And some of us are determined to fight this madness through every available legal means no matter the cost or stigma.”
Meanwhile government has said that in December 2021, each person who would want attend events must get vaccinated else entrances of event centers will not be opened to anyone who doesn’t get vaccinated.
