A group identified asConcerned Sissala Movement in the Lambussie District of the Upper West Region of Ghana is unhappy about the neglect of the area by successive government and have registered their displeasure through protest.
According to a report by 3News out of the 11 Districts in the Upper West Region, Lambussie District is the only without tarred roads.
The district according to report lacks basic amenities hence compelling residents to register their grievances through demonstration.
The unhappy youth addressed the media after they had marched through the Lambussie community to the Community Day Senior High School.
Convener Sylvester addressing the media noted that their deplorable roads have escalated into death traps now.
He went on to say that government’s introduction of digital address system is a good one but some government officials have registered a lot of properties in Lambussie in favour of Nandom.
