Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has disclosed that the recent power interruption in the Ashanti Region has destroyed all his home appliances.

The Asantehene made this revelation when the Energy Minister Mathew Opoku Prempeh paid a courtesy call on him at Manhyia Palace on 1st December 2021.
“It is my prayer that you will work to address this matter because if the country will develop it will depend on the energy. The frequent power outages have destroyed all my appliance,” he said.
Recall that not long ago Mr. Opoku Prempeh said that the nation will no longer go back to ‘Dumsor’ which the country experienced during John Mahama’s administration.
