On Friday 12th November, the family of Jerry John Rawlings set the day aside to commemorate him after a year of his passing.
NDC members and executives were present to support the event with their presence. Not only NDC members were present but a section of Ghanaians and media men were also present.
Addressing the gathering at the first anniversary of the late President Rawlings, Dr. Zanetor Rawlings called on the executives of the NDC to bring back Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings into the party.
Koku Anyidoho on 16th November 2021 expressed 100 percent support for Dr. Zanetor’s call noting that it isn’t a bad call at all. He vowed to lead Nana Konadu back into the NDC.
But former Ghanaian musician turned political activist, Kwame A Plus says Nana Konadu Agyemang has enjoyed so much under the Akufo-Addo administration and for that reason wouldn’t know how to campaign against the NPP if she moves back to the NDC.
In a post on Facebook he expressed his thought saying;
Akufo Addo and his government have taken very good care of Nana Konadu. In fact, she has enjoyed this government more than all NPP footsoldiers, financiers and sympathizers. 
So now that her daughter and others are pushing for her to return to the NDC party, what will her message be if she mounts a campaign platform? That Akufo Addo is what? That NPP is what? That NDC must remove NPP from power because she doesn’t understand why she is enjoying but others are suffering or what? Aaah well….Please me I’m only asking ooo. I’m not well. Don’t come and inzut me I beg
