The Deputy Majority leader in Parliament Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin has showered praises on the Vice President of Ghana Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
“Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia is another calm character, easy of address, a determined soul, ready to serve his country”, the Effutu member of Parliament said in a statement on the floor of Parliament on 12th November 2021.
He made this comment ahead of the commemoration of the nine years of passing into the glory of the late Vice President Aliu Mahama who died on 16th November 2012.
Speaking about Aliu Mahama, Mr. Afenyo-Markin likened Dr. Bawumia to him.
Afenyo-Markin’s endorsement clearly points that most members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) strongly believes that the Vice President will be a great leader should he be elected in 2024.
