Chiefs And Ghanaians Are Living In Pain Under Nana Addo’s Government-Prof. Joshua Alabi

Former flagbearer aspirant within the National Democratic Congress Professor Joshua Alabi has said chiefs and Ghanaians are all living in pain under the Nana Akufo-Addo led administration.

He stated that Ghanaians haven’t yet seen or had a feel of what the New Patriotic Party (NPP) promised them prior to the 2020 polls adding that they had high expectations that the NPP will deliver.

In our tour across the country, I see the pain in our chiefs and the people. When you are a Chief you need change; sometimes they travel from their cities and villages to Accra just to see President, ministers…just to lobby for projects from the government for their communities”, Professor Joshua Alabi said in an interview on TV XYZ.

He noted that he realized this situation most Ghanaians find themselves in during the ‘Thank You Tour’ of John Dramani Mahama.

According to Prof. Alabi the major cause of this pain is the alarming unemployment rate as well as abandoning of developmental projects commenced under John Mahama.

He went on to cite Torgbui Fiti’s example as one typical example of the pain people feel because projects they need and waiting on have been abandoned when the government changed.
