Two police officers who have been described as highly-trained have been killed in a road crash on Thursday 21st October 2021.

Report indicate that the two highly trained officers were members of a five-member Taskforce dispatched to respond to an emergency on the Walewale-Bolgatanga road.
The other three officers who were injured are in a critical condition seeking medical attention.
A statement from the police indicates that there are plans underway for flying the critically injured officers from Walewale for further treatment.
Families of the two deceased have been informed about the unfortunate incident with the IGP, Dr. George Dampare giving the families a call.
