The President of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo has said that Ghana would have been buried under the NDC if Covid-19 hit the country under their regime.
He noted unlike how the NPP handled the Covid-19 pandemic and it related hardship meted on the country the NDC would have failed drastically which may end the country in a grave.
Speaking on the Economic growth of the country he noted that despite the pandemic hitting Ghana in recent times the country is experiencing an economic growth.
Speaking in an interview with Kwame Sefa Kayi host of ‘Kokrokoo’ morning show on Peace FM, the President in answering whether or not Ghanaians are feeling the economic growth in their pockets said indeed they are feeling it because before inflation stood at 15% which means that if someone has 100 cedis then 15 cedis will be deducted from it but now that it stands at 10% it means 10 cedis will be deducted.
He mentioned that feeling the economic growth in the pockets of Ghanaians isn’t something that will necessarily be something incremental but something that can be managed.
Nana Addo said although Ghanaians are feeling the economic growth in their pockets it is not necessarily something big that will be felt.
