I Mistakenly Said ‘I Never Promised To Build Habour In Cape Coast’-Nana Akufo-Addo Apologizes

Recall that as part of President Nana Addo’s two-day tour in the Central Region he mentioned in an interview that he never promised to build a habour for the region.

This came as a big disappointment to people of the Central Region who had their hopes high and were expecting a habour in the second term of Nana Addo’s administration.

The President speaking in an interview Cape Coast based Eagle FM on his first stop of the tour said; “The commitment was never to a harbour; it was to a landing site,” indicating that the infrastructure project was never part of the list of his commitments tabled before him for his second term.

This comment received massive criticism from Ghanaians who knew the President promised the Central Region a habour.

Well the President in an interview on Peace FM hosted by Chairman General Kwame Sefa Kayi has apologized to the people of Cape Coast and Ghanaians stating that he mistakenly said that.

”Kwame I must confess it was a mistake, checking the manifesto I saw landing site and didn’t read further that’s how come I made the erroneous comment’, I apologize to the people of Cape Coast”, he stated.
