Nana Addo Appoints Gary Nimako As Chairman Of Ghana Gaming Commission

The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has appointed the New Patriotic Party’s lawyer, Gary Nimako as the Board Chairman of the Gaming Commission, Ghana.

Until his appointment he is a managing partner at Marfo and Associates, a law firm which is located in Accra.

As the Board Chairman, Mr. Nimako will ensure that the Gaming Commission’s mandate of issuing permit to companies and individuals aspiring to run promotions with some elements of game will be given the chance to run as well as issue license to all gaming operators.

The Gaming Commission is a body corporate established by the Gaming Act 2006, Act 721 with the main purpose of Regulating, Controlling, Monitoring and Supervising the operations of Games of Chance in the country.

In assisting national development the board will be required to create a better and sustainable industry.
