Two suspected thieves, Stephen Appiah aged 21 and Kwame Elliot aged 27 have been arrested handed over to Awutu Breku Police Command after residents of Awutu Breku arrested them for alleged motor theft.
The victim, Daniel Antwi Brown whose motor was stolen has narrated that he woke up at dawn to go out with his motorbike but realized it was nowhere to be found.
He went on to say that he organized his friends to arrest the alleged suspects.
Chief Inspector Stephen Tamakloe who spoke with Angel News reporter Opanyin Darko confirmed the incident.
The Chief Inspector went on to say that investigations into the matter are being conducted and soon the suspects will be sent to court for prosecution.
We are almost done with the investigation but in order to ensure that we have tightened all loose ends we have to take time and get everything right so that we can process for court.
Mr. Tamakloe added that stealing of motorbikes have become prevalent in the area and there is the for it to be addressed.
